MCA debt relieffor Hollywood, Floridabusinesses.
Hollywood sits in southeastern Broward County with a long Atlantic beach, a busy downtown on Hollywood Boulevard, and part of Port Everglades inside its limits. Each of those businesses meets a merchant cash advance in its own way.
Key points
- Beach businesses along the Hollywood Broadwalk earn most in the dry winter months, but a fixed daily draft takes the same amount all year.
- A card-split advance shrinks when sales fall; a fixed ACH draft does not, which is why the contract type matters on a slow beach day.
- Anchor Resolve works with Hollywood owners from its Miami office, mostly by phone, text, email and e-signature.
- Funders are worked by a servicing partner’s negotiation team, not by Anchor Resolve, which also holds no client funds and is not a law firm.
Beach businesses and the Broadwalk calendar
The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a paved promenade along the sand, lined with restaurants, cafés, shops and small hotels. Business there follows the visitors: busy in the dry winter months, softer when the heat and summer rain arrive, and exposed every hurricane season, which runs June 1 through November 30.
A beachfront café or rental shop that took an advance in February, sized on February sales, is often still paying the same daily draft in September. Owners commonly fill that gap with a second advance, then a third. The restaurant guide explains why fixed ACH drafts hit food service harder than almost any other business, and the page on MCA stacking shows how one advance becomes several.
Downtown Hollywood and Young Circle
Downtown Hollywood runs along Hollywood Boulevard east of Interstate 95, with ArtsPark at Young Circle at its center. New residential towers and a hotel have gone up around the circle, and the district’s restaurants, bars, galleries and service businesses depend on foot traffic, events and the people moving into those buildings.
For a downtown restaurant or salon, an advance split at the card processor at least falls when sales fall. A fixed daily ACH draft does not. If a building project closes a block, an outdoor event is cancelled for weather, or a quiet month arrives, the draft still lands before rent and payroll. Contractors building those towers face the opposite timing problem: they are paid by draw, often weeks after the work, while the advance collects daily. The construction guide covers draws and retainage.
Port Everglades and the trucks that serve it
Port Everglades spans parts of Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Dania Beach, and it handles cruise passengers, containers and much of South Florida’s petroleum supply. Small trucking and logistics companies in and around Hollywood work those lanes every day.
Fuel, insurance and truck notes do not wait, and a carrier that factors its invoices may find an advance competing with the factoring company for the same receivables. The trucking guide explains which obligations usually need protecting first, and why a plan that starves fuel and insurance to pay funders tends to fail.
Working with a Miami office from Hollywood
Anchor Resolve is based in Miami, a short drive south, and you rarely need to make the trip. The free review, the program documents and every new agreement are handled by phone, text, email and e-signature, with in-person meetings in Miami by appointment.
If you enroll, a servicing partner’s negotiation team works with each funder for you while you keep running the business, and nothing changes on a position until you sign. Results vary and no outcome is guaranteed. The South Florida page explains Florida’s commercial financing disclosure law and how the process works across the region.
Common questions
My Broadwalk business closes for a few days when a storm approaches. Do the drafts stop?
Usually not. Most fixed ACH drafts keep running on business days whether you are open or not, and under some contracts a returned draft can be treated as a default. Read your contract’s reconciliation clause, if it has one, and ask a licensed attorney about your rights.
Is there an Anchor Resolve office in Hollywood?
There is not. The only office is in Miami, open by appointment, and Hollywood owners can handle the whole process by phone, text and email.
I run a small trucking company near the port and I factor my invoices. Can you still review my advances?
Yes. The free review maps your factoring agreement, your fuel and insurance obligations and every advance together, because they all draw on the same cash. Results vary and no outcome is guaranteed.
